  1. We're moving house that day, so won't be able to come. Probably wouldn't come anyway, as it's not easy for us to get into Abingdon, especially at that time of day (kids' home from school, need feeding etc etc).

It's a shame that it's only in Abingdon, and not coming to other locations, as I'm sure there must be many people who were flooded who won't be able to attend because of the location.

I am so looking forward to moving out of this shell of a house. But I'm not looking forward to having to move house twice in 3 months - but at least when we return home, it really will be "home" once again. And hopefully the kids will stop getting sick so often, living in such a cold and damp environment. If we ever get flooded again, I'm going to make sure we move into rented accommodation straight away!!

  2. The reason for having it in Abingdon was because the last one held in Oxford was even further away for those of us in the Vale. They also suffered greatly with main river flooding as we know. However, I shall try and bring back lots of information to pass on - and we may be able to have a local fair if this proves a success!
Hope all goes well with the move.
